Breakaway Weekends

Relax in your private bedroom, on the deck, or in our comfortable lounge.  Enjoy a walk in the Karangahake Gorge or at the beach, visit the local antique shops and have a look at the goldmine.  Have a massage or manicure, dinner at a local restaurant and a special brunch including blueberry waffles before returning home relaxed and ready to get into the swing of working life on Monday.

Rooms

We have two individually designed, spacious rooms, quality linen with natural fibers are used in all aspects of our accommodation.  Both rooms have private, tiled ensuites with under floor heating.  The private decks lead to lawn and gardens with just a short stroll to the stream bank, trout pools and orchards, where you are welcome to have a walk.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in our dining room, or weather permitting, on the deck.  The lounge is available for guests to relax and enjoy.  You may like to try our blueberry muffins with your tea or coffee.

Barn Style Cottage

Adjacent to the house and under our black walnut trees we have built a modern barn style cottage with bathroom and living downstairs.

On the mezzanine floor are two single beds and one queen size bed suitable for the family get away or for a group booking.
